A fun photo session with Connie of Littlebug Face Painting in Killeen, Texas. Photography by Katie Smith Photography
I think this is a creative idea for a video… show the kids using their imagination and becoming the characters that go with the painted faces. I think this is better than a slide show of painted faces or even a demo of someone painting faces. It is kids having fun.
Girl gets her face painted to look like a cat at a theme park.
Not the best angle to see the action. I think face painting should be a spectator sport. Make sure the other customers can watch and get excited for their turn. Also, let the parents get a good angle to take pictures and video for memories that will last. Also, it is good if there is a sign in the background so they remember who to call when it is time to book entertainment.
Marc Proulx, also known as Marco the Clown. Check out the video and read his story.
I like the way the clown does more than just make balloons. He entertains as he goes… to bad the balloon popped.
I am not sure a football player would be so careful with their eye black or that the team doctor would do such a bad job with stitches. But, I think it does add to the overall image if you don’t think about it too much.
Starlets – Rocket Mask by aimeeholloway
A quick and super easy rocket mask for boys 🙂
I think this is a great design. I need to experiment with scenes. Most of my face painting designs are limited to specific things like animals, superheros, and monsters. I have never been able to do the abstract designs or curls and swirls. This would be a fun design for the little boys, and it doesn’t need to cover their full face.
Mini Kitty Mask by aimeeholloway
A quick tutorial on how to paint a mini kitty mask – a cute mini version of a full cat face.
While I think this is a great design, I am always troubled by seeing the design have a mouth and the child having a mouth below it. While the nose does make a great little kitty face, I would use the child’s mouth.

Not too bad for a 15-year-old balloon twister.
