Dive five stories down and journey through the briny deep world of Atlantis! Discover a mighty pirate ship and its hapless crew battling the giant octopus! Will they be rescued by the Mermaid Queen? You won’t believe your eyes as this tale unfolds in a 5-story balloon sculpture.

This feature sculpture at the Sibley Building (250 East Main Street, Rochester, NY 14604) will be free for the public to view and enjoy.

Over 22 hours, David Brock was transformed into Neurovascular Man – half his body painted with the nervous system, the other half with the cardiovascular system.

Markers are NOT designed to be used on faces. Please, don’t try this. While markers might be handy, there are real face paints available at many craft stores that are 100% better choice.

It is time for another face painting competition, this month, the editors at Illusion Magazine are having a Lip Art Face Painting Competition.

Rules: Please read these rules carefully! please send in a design which has been created on and around the lips, the design must be painted on the lower half of the face below the nose. The nose and anything above the nose must not be painted.

To enter the competition, please email your lip art design to editor@illusionmagazine.co.uk with Lip Art competition in the subject line, the competition will close on 25th February at midnight Uk time

Our guest judge for this competition is Alexandra Godwin who has inspired the theme of this lip art competition with her fabulous dragon design.

• Open to painters from all around the world
• Gems, stencils, lashes and glitter can be used, No prosthetics to be used
• One design per artist, send only one single image. Compilation images will not be accepted.
